Sweep a (double) padel court in 10 minutes!

Remove padel court debris and redistribute infill sand? From now on, you do it in one efficient pass.

Padel courts require intensive maintenance. Outdoor courts collect leaves and twigs, while indoor courts deal more with fine dust. But they share one big enemy: ball fluff. Yellow felt fibers mix with the infill sand and quickly form a dense, felt-like layer. The result? A mirror-smooth playing surface, unpredictable ball bounce, and eventually an expensive court renovation.

The problem with traditional padel court maintenance

Current methods often fall short. An ordinary broom or drag net misses the deep-lying fluff and dirt. But reach for more aggressive cleaning methods, and you risk sweeping or blowing away the crucial infill sand as well. The result: accelerated wear, unnecessarily higher costs, and a padel court that's never truly clean.

The smart solution for padel court maintenance

It can be done faster, more effectively, and considerably cheaper. The meclean® BUSTER 750 PDL flawlessly separates dirt and ball fluff from the sand. The dirt disappears into the collection bin, while the sand is immediately and perfectly redistributed. That saves labor hours, sand, and costs.

The powerful meclean® BUSTER 750 sweeper is equipped with a special extra collection bin featuring a fine-mesh grid.

How it works — simple yet effective:

  1. Leaves, twigs, and other debris are effortlessly swept up and stay behind in the collection bin, while the strong suction function effectively removes ball fluff.

  2. The valuable infill sand falls straight through the fine-mesh grid and is evenly redistributed across the court.

You separate dirt and ball fluff from the sand in exactly one pass. And thanks to the counter-rotating brushes, the carpet's "wave effect" is prevented. Good redistribution of the infill sand, no extra steps, and your courts are immediately smooth and grippy again.

  • How does the "interchangeable collection bin" system work on the BUSTER 750 PDL?

The padel bin is the bin with the grille; this is the extra, specially developed collection bin for work inside the cage. It has a fine-mesh grille that catches leaves and fluff while immediately redistributing the infill sand back onto the court. The standard bin is the closed bin. If you want to sweep the terrace, walkways, or parking area outside the cage, you swap the padel bin for this closed collection bin. This prevents any (fine) dust or debris from escaping underneath outside the cage.

  • Ball fluff is a common challenge for both our indoor and outdoor courts , is this sweeper well suited for that?

The powerful suction function of the meclean BUSTER 750 PDL effectively removes the yellow felt fibers from padel balls. This prevents the fluff from mixing with the sand and forming a hard, smooth felt layer.

  • How often should you sweep a padel court?

The main rule is to sweep at least once a week to keep the infill sand evenly distributed. When the courts are used frequently, or during autumn, daily sweeping is recommended. In quieter periods, sweeping two to three times a week is sufficient. In addition, it is also advised to clean the glass walls every month.

  • What does a sweeper for a padel court cost?

Purchasing the meclean BUSTER 750 sweeper for padel courts is possible from 3,749,- including maintenance-free batteries and charging station. Price in euro, excluding VAT.

  • What are the signs that a padel court needs extra maintenance?

This can mainly be seen through players slipping on smooth patches on the court, dirt accumulating in the corners or along the edges, or spots where water pools on the playing surface, causing irregular ball bounce. These signs indicate that the sand is no longer evenly distributed or that there is too much organic debris on the court.

  • Can I safely use the padel court sweeper along the glass of the courts?

The BUSTER 750 PDL is also equipped with guide wheel(s) next to the brush(es). When the operator steers the sweeper tightly along the glass or fencing, these plastic wheels are the first to touch the wall. Instead of the machine scraping or colliding, it rolls smoothly along the glass. This prevents scratches or other damage and reduces the impact if someone accidentally steers in too sharply.

  • Is this padel court sweeper easy to operate?

Meclean is known for its functional technology without "bells and whistles. So yes, operation is very simple, allowing even (occasional) volunteers to easily work with the sweeper.

  • Why does a padel court need a dedicated sweeper?

Fast footwork during play shifts the infill sand toward the edges of the court. A regular broom or standard sweeper is less suitable: the meclean BUSTER 750 PDL is designed to remove debris and redistribute the sand evenly across the artificial turf in a single, efficient pass, restoring a smooth, level surface with predictable ball bounce and a longer lifespan.

  • Can a padel court also be swept by hand, or is a machine necessary?

Manual maintenance takes considerably more time compared to machine sweeping, especially when multiple courts need to be kept in top condition. Manual sweeping is also much more labour-intensive for those responsible for maintaining a padel court.

  • Which padel courts is the BUSTER 750 PDL suitable for?

This padel court sweeper is suitable for both outdoor and indoor padel courts where infill sand is used, such as a sports hall or an outdoor padel cage.
